This project aims to establish a circular supply chain for reusable construction materials in Switzerland, bridging the gap between available deconstructed components and their reuse in the construction industry. By focusing on storage, logistics, and digital systems, the initiative targets large, challenging-to-handle elements such as ceilings, stairs, and doors.
In the CBI Booster, the team will create a business plan for the first logistics hub in Ticino, while working to secure partnerships and funding. Key efforts include developing storage facilities, designing a digital system to catalog materials for architects, and collaborating with CIRKLA and GS1 to implement a digital product pass for material tracking. The goal is to enable a structured marketplace for reusable materials, advancing sustainable construction practices in Switzerland.
