We are looking for early stage and radical project ideas that strengthen circular economy within the Swiss building industry.
A call for participation to attend open innovation workshops is published on the CBI Booster website (events) and on the open innovation platform Jointcreate.
After the open innovation workshop(s), innovation teams can submit their idea via Jointcreate.
Expert jury reviews the ideas and invited the most promising ones to pitch. They then make a decision on which projects receive funding and development support.
Innovation teams develop their ideas with support from topic experts and targeted workshops.
Innovation teams present their progress in front of the expert jury.
To be eligible for funding, you need to take part in the idea phase, where you share, ideate, and develop ideas with other circular building enthusiasts. This means that you need to have participated in one of the open innovation workshops that take place prior to the idea submission deadline.
At least one implementation partner and one research partner is part of your innovation team. Implementation partners are actors who implement the innovation ideas, thus creating economic and societal added value. (e.g., start-ups, SMEs, larger companies, non-profit organizations such as municipal administrations). The implementation partner must be registered in Switzerland. Research partners include university research institutes, non-commercial research centres outside the university sector, departmental research institutions with their own research projects, and federal research institutes.
